The Neotropical Ornithological Society (NOS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the scientific study of birds and their habitats in the Neotropical Region.

I am currently working for biodiversity conservation through the protection and restoration of humid forests of the Middle Magdalena in Colombia and temperate deciduous forests in Southeastern North America. I am interested in ecoacoustics as a powerful and non-invasive method for monitoring conservation and restoration efforts in different ecosystems.
