Kini Roesler

Ornitólogo, investigador y un apasionado observador de aves desde los 11 años. Se graduó como Licenciado en Biología (Zoología) en la Universidad Nacional de La Plata y obtuvo su Doctorado en Biología por la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA). Actualmente es Investigador del Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET) en la Fundación Bariloche, donde trabaja en temas de biodiversidad y conservación. Además, es el Presidente y uno de los fundadores de la Fundación Macá Tobiano, liderando iniciativas para la conservación de especies amenazadas en el sur de Argentina, como el emblemático Macá Tobiano. También fue Director Científico de Aves Argentinas.

Ornithologist, researcher, and passionate birdwatcher since the age of 11. He earned a degree in Biology (Zoology) from the National University of La Plata and a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). He is currently a researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET), based at the Bariloche Foundation, where he conducts research on biodiversity and conservation. He is also the president and co-founder of Fundación Macá Tobiano, where he leads initiatives to conserve threatened species in southern Argentina, including the emblematic Hooded Grebe (Macá Tobiano). He previously served as Scientific Director of Aves Argentinas.
