Joanna Castillo

Actualmente estoy desarrollando mi doctorado sobre aspectos tróficos de aves playeras en un humedal costero de la Patagonia Argentina. Me interesa investigar la ecología de la migración, la población y la trófica de las aves, orientada a proyectar acciones de conservación y sustentabilidad para estos ambientes. Mi lugar de trabajo es el Laboratorio de Aves Playeras del Instituto de Diversidad y Evolución Austral del Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (IDEAus-CONICET). Además, soy miembro del Laboratorio de Aves Playeras en Humedales Patagónicos de la Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia San Juan Bosco (UNPSJB), en Puerto Madryn, Chubut, Argentina.

I am currently developing my PhD on the trophic aspects of shorebirds in a coastal wetland in Argentine Patagonia. I am interested in researching the migration, population, and trophic ecology of birds with the aim of projecting conservation and sustainability actions for these environments. My workplace is the Shorebird Laboratory at the Institute of Diversity and Southern Evolution of the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (IDEAus-CONICET). Additionally, I am a member of the Shorebird Laboratory in Patagonian Wetlands at the National University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco (UNPSJB) in Puerto Madryn, Chubut, Argentina.
